George G. Crawford served as a bombardier in the Army Air Corps during World War II. His dramatic military career was played out in Europe until liberated by General George Patton's Fifth Army. Following military service, George returned to California where he completed his education and obtained a degree in law in 1962. He has had a long and distinguished career in law from attorney to prosecutor to California Assemblyman to judge. George and his wife Esther currently live in his hometown of San Diego where they are enjoying retirement.
