Wendolynn Allen
Wendolynn Allen grew up in Richardson, Texas where she graduated from
high school in the top 4% of her class. She also received recognition
as the most accomplished member of the Track & Field team. She
then went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where she
became a top athlete with a 3.0 grade average.
But alone in her dorm room she wondered if this was all there was to
life. The answer came when she recalled the numerous church activities
she participated in throughout childhood—Sunday service,
Sunday school, vacation bible school, choir, usher, summer trips, drama
presentations, pageants—activities that held little meaning
to her at that time.
In the fall of 2002, she began studying a trail of thought that
developed into The
King’s Court, which
focuses on one of her favorite scripture passages, Proverbs 31:10-31,
more commonly referred to as “The Virtuous
Woman.”
Wendolynn Allen currently resides in Austin, Texas. She is an active
member of House of the Lord Fellowship Church and owns and operates
GreatWorks Fitness Personal Training and Nutritional Consulting
Services. A competitive athlete, she has received national
recognition in bodybuilding and power lifting and desires to glorify
God in all her work.
